Team France’s young innovators are ready for the challenge
We are Team France 2026, a group of nine passionate students aged 15 to 17 from Normandy, proudly representing our country at the FIRST Global Challenge in Incheon. Guided by our mentors, Franck and François, we are part of We Robot, a non-profit organization dedicated to making STEM education accessible through engaging, hands-on, project-based learning.
This year’s theme, Igniting Innovation, perfectly reflects our vision. Through engineering, 3D design, programming, and teamwork, we strive to develop innovative solutions that contribute to a more resilient and sustainable world in the face of climate change.
We believe in diversity, collaboration, and excellence. Our team, made up of 8 girls and 5 boys, reflects our commitment to equal opportunities and the power of different perspectives working together. Building on several international achievements—including the Helping Hands Gold Medal and a Top 10 finish among 183 countries in 2024—we return with ambition, determination, and humility.
For us, the FIRST Global Challenge is much more than a robotics competition. It is a unique opportunity to learn, collaborate, and build lasting friendships across cultures. We are excited to meet teams from around the world, exchange ideas, and work together to create the technologies that will shape a better future.
